Position Location: Information Technology Laboratory, Champaign, IL Starting Salary: $58,562.00 – $91,255.00.00 per annum

Duties: You will serve as Librarian and will develop standards, recommend, monitor, and maintain multiple library systems. You will recommend, monitor, maintain, and manage a Sirsi/Dynix Integrated Library System. You will also recommend, monitor, maintain, and manage an electronic resources management system that can be integrated into a Sirsi/Dynix Integrated Library System and provide liaison support for library systems with commercial vendors. As the librarian you will provide responses to a wide range of scientific and technical requests for information using a wide range of resources providing data in a broad range of technical and scientific subject areas. You will maintain statistical data about types and frequency of requests for information. As the librarian you will provide technical library service support by performing tasks related to interlibrary loan and participating in collection development and acquisition activities. They will also disseminate information to library customers on a timely basis and research and develop tools to provide virtual reference. You will analysis and provide policy development guidance while working with other library staff on policy development and mission requirements. You will use Google Analytics to analyze usage of material in the library collection and identify and maintain statistical usage data within multiple library computer systems.

Brief Description of the Program: You must have a Grade Point Average of 3.5 in 4.0 system in the subject matter field. These positions are in the Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC). The purpose is to provide the ERDC a method of bringing entry-level professional talent into the civilian workforce and grooming them for senior-level researcher positions. Travel and relocation expenses WILL NOT be paid This position requires U.S. Citizenship.
