The University of New Hampshire Library seeks a dynamic, innovative librarian for the newly created position of Business Librarian. This librarian will serve as liaison to the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics; will provide reference, research, instruction, and collection development support for business disciplines; and will participate in general reference and instruction activities. The Business Librarian will work closely with other members of the reference staff and the Government Information unit.
In addition to experience in teaching and use of business and economics resources, the successful candidate will have general knowledge of data sources in business areas and the ability to provide general reference and instruction in the humanities and social sciences. Reporting to the Dean of the University Library through the Library Faculty Chair, this is a 12-month, tenure track faculty position with appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, depending on qualifications. The successful candidate will be expected to meet University and Library promotion and tenure requirements, which, among other things, include scholarship and active participation in library, university, and professional service.
The minimum salary will be $72,320 for the rank of Assistant Professor with a competitive benefits package.
